Nesting season is upon us! We’ve been seeing some WEBL activity at many of our boxes. From one of our Davis Nestbox Network monitors, Eric Newman:
The bluebird box in Bluebird Circle Park, I believe box ND 15 in the North Davis Channel group, has been actively evaluated over the past couple of weeks by an un-banded couple. Probably the same un-banded couple from 2023 that built a class 4 nest, but left the box without laying any eggs.
Today they began moving in.
We are looking forward to another productive and bird-filled spring!
